Luis Feito (Born 1929)

Luis Feito studied and taught at the Escuela de Bellas Artes de San Fernando in Madrid. Together with other Spanish artist of Art infomel,  the European equivalent foundling members of El Paso,  an association of Spanish artists. His works went full circle from early figurative works to experimentations in cubism until finally achieving total abstraction. His later paintings used brilliant colors that emphasized the flatness of the picture plane as well as elegant geometric forms.
